Welcome to The Faithful Home. We’re the Kopecki family, a Texas-based family learning, growing, and living by faith each day.

I’m Katie, a wife, homeschool mama to a joyful toddler, and bonus mama to two young women. Between us, we have two little ones in heaven. One we carried together, and one my husband carried in his heart long before our story began. My husband is the faithful leader of our home, a steady and prayerful man who loves the Lord and leads our family with grace and wisdom.

Together we both work full time. I am the owner of a newborn care and nanny agency called Baby Brilliance, and my husband faithfully provides for our family through his full-time work and by ranching on the side. We often shuffle our toddler between us and work opposite schedules so that we have the freedom to keep our little one home with us and begin homeschooling. We believe God entrusted us with our children for a purpose, and it is our greatest honor to steward that responsibility with intention, truth, and love.

Our days are full and purposeful as we raise a curious toddler, guide and disciple two young women, and build a life centered on faith, family, and calling. Ours is a beautifully blended family, a living picture of God’s redemption and grace. We have seen His hand restore, renew, and weave together something far greater than we could have planned on our own.

I was adopted as a child, and that part of my story has shaped my heart in countless ways. Not many people can say they have been adopted twice, once on earth and again into the family of Christ. You may see posts here about the history of my adoption and the ways God has used it to remind me of His steadfast love and faithfulness.

Our home is far from perfect, but it is filled with laughter, learning, and a desire to reflect Christ in everything we do. We believe in creating a home where faith is lived out in the ordinary, in conversation, in service, in forgiveness, and in love.

The Faithful Home was created as a space to share the beauty and the realness of life in this season, motherhood, marriage, homemaking, and walking with Jesus as a family. Our hope is that this space offers encouragement and light for other families seeking to live faithfully in every moment, no matter how small.
